Accounts Payable Specialist (Travel & Expenses) - Private Equity
Newly created, add to staff position with one of Boston's top Financial Services firms. This role will be responsible for managing Travel & Expense for the organization - high level of attention to detail, and strong communication skills are a must. A general knowledge of Accounting / directly relevant experience whether through either an internship or full-time position are a huge plus.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Accounts Payable team with coding and processing of vendor invoices as needed
- Collaborate with General Ledger Accounting team to support the Accounts Payable reconciliation
- Review and process employee Travel & Expense (T&E) submissions from all businesses in accordance with company policy
- Assist with employee T&E inquiries, providing strong customer service to all levels of staff including, but not limited to agents and agent assistants
- Manage day-to-day tasks relating to the company corporate card program
- Create and manage various reporting for leadership, as requested
- Work closely with Travel team on travel approvals and travel policy inquiries
- Ensure appropriate receipts are attached and meet IRS requirements and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained
- Manage other projects and processes as assigned related to all areas of T&E
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- 0-2 years of Accounting / Finance experience (strong internship, or relevant experience)
- Experience in Accounts Payable, or with T&E is a huge plus
- Interest in professional development, promotions within the company
- High level or organization, attention to detail
