What are the responsibilities and job description for the FP&A Manager position at SDL Search Partners?
Well-established and growing manufacturing company headquartered in Mansfield has a newly created role for an FP&A Manager. The FP&A Manager will be the right-hand for the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate has strong modeling, budgeting & forecasting skills and a process-improvement focused mindset.
Working directly with the VP, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for standard FP&A, lead several strategic FP&A projects, and will partner with the business on the budgeting process.
The team works on a hybrid schedule out of their Mansfield office. The ideal structure is 3 days per week in the office for the first 6 months, to get up to speed, then eventually can adjust down to 2 days per week.
This is a newly created role due to the growth of the organization! The ideal candidate wants to grow long-term with the company, and is eager to put their own stamp on an FP&A department, helping improve processes as the team grows.
Requirements :
- BS, Finance, Accounting, or related
- 5-15 years of FP&A experience
- excellent process-improvement skills; interested in supporting / leading the build out of the FP&A function and implementing best practices
- strong system skills, Excel, large ERP, strong reporting skills
- able to pick up new concepts quickly; able to work independently and collaboratively
- strategic & analytical mindset
- strong business partnering skills - able to work cross functionally and build relationships throughout the organization
