Human Resources Manager / Head of HR - High Growth Start-up! (Boston / Hybrid)
New add-to-staff opening with one of the fastest growing companies in Boston! This role will lead in the development and organization of the Human Resources function, including HRIS implementation, serving as back-up on Payroll, leading all hiring, and serving as the point-person for HR interdepartmentally & with leadership.
This is a great role for a self-starter who enjoys working autonomously, leading change, and developing processes.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the strategic HR business partner to both leadership and department heads as the Company continues to experience rapid growth.
- Establish and maintain human resources policies and procedures for the Company.
- Partner with Company management to foster equitable HR practices across all levels. Includes employee relations, talent retention, leadership development, succession planning, safety, compensation & performance management, etc.
- Stay current on competitive / market information regarding compensation, benefits, policies, etc.
- Ensure compliance with local, State and Federal laws.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and on-boarding process.
- Manage employee benefit programs.
- Lead staff performance review process and make recommendations for improving performance and productivity.
- Foster a positive and productive workplace that inspires excellence through an open-door policy, rewards programs, company events, etc.
- In conjunction with managers, assess training needs and implement training programs.
- Develop and provide metric reports as needed regarding human capital management.
- Serve as the backup to the Payroll Administrator for all Payroll processing, and reporting.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in HR Management
- Experience with HRIS systems implementation is a huge plus
- Payroll experience
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field
- Self-starter who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment
