New opening with one of Boston's top Private Equity firms. This role will oversee the Procurement team, and will be responsible for all vendor / relationship management, procurement strategy, and budgeting / financial reporting as it relates to purchasing & procurement.

Responsibilities :
Responsible for management, supervision, mentorship, and development of the Procurement team
Develop and drive annual budgetary process for capital and operating expenses; prepare monthly budgeting reports, forecast expense categories and identifies overages in advance
Partner with accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure communication with vendors in a timely manner; address financial issues and inquiries from internal partners and vendors
Standardize processes, documentation, reporting among the IT Sourcing organization
Handles negotiations and manages all IT contracts; manages vendor relationships including procurement and account management
Execute sourcing initiatives and lead RFPs based on identified opportunities
Demonstrate knowledge of, and expertise in, various IT and Procurement concepts, practices, procedures, and compliance requirements
Responsible for onboarding and diligence for new vendors
Perform account reconciliation of vendor statements on periodic basis
Ad hoc projects as they arise
Qualifications :
10 years of Procurement experience, including IT Procurement
Bachelor's Degree required with focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or other applicable area
MBA is a plus
Leadership experience / interest in people management
Ability to business-partner cross-functionally, and vertically, including presenting directly to the Executive team
Ability to drive process and process-improve
Interest in professional development, continuous learning, and growth within the organization
