Senior Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established company located north of Boston. The Senior Accountant will be hands-on in all general ledger accounting and get involved in complex areas within fixed assets, variance analysis, and budgeting.
The Controller is targeting a driven Senior Accountant with GAAP accounting, fixed assets, and intellectual curiosity to join the team. The firm offers a competitive compensation, profit-sharing plan, and comprehensive employee benefits. In-office schedule with flexible hours.
Responsibilities :
- Perform month end close activities (journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, etc.)
- High-volume fixed-asset accounting (depreciation schedules, purchases, disposals)
- Analyze P&L and expense variances
- Contribute to annual audit procedure
- Ensure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are met
- Play a key role in implementing new ERP system
- Support the Controller with ad-hoc projects as needed
