Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with strong problem-solving skills, to address various maintenance challenges.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts.
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Fixing minor plumbing issues like leaky faucets, clogged drains, and toilet repairs.
- Addressing basic electrical problems like faulty outlets, light switch replacements.
- Performing minor carpentry work including door repairs, trim replacements, and patching drywall.
- Painting interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
- Replacing damaged fixtures and appliances.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in a maintenance role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical , carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Capability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Clear communication with tenants, property mangers, and contractors.
