Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage daily delivery and/or shuttle operations, working closely with other transportation managers to ensure accurate execution of routes and deliveries.
- Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee adherence to safety processes and procedures, monitoring equipment, logs, DVIRs, and Hours of Service records for compliance.
- Serve as a role model and leader, embodying a positive attitude and thriv-ing in both individual and team-based settings.
- Supervise a team of independent professional contractors, providing guidance and support to enhance performance metrics and survey scores.
In order to excel in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics management, with expertise in procedures and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, along with leadership abilities that inspire teamwork and motivation.
- Familiarity with DOT laws and regulations, as well as the ability to work flexible schedules and be on call as needed.
