This is what your day may look like :
- Manage Delivery and / or Shuttle
- Ensure routes and deliveries are accurately executed.
- Work with recruiting to interview new contractor candidates.
- Review route and linehaul assignments.
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching for Transportation managers.
- Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR's, and Hours of service records.
- Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team environment.
- Ability to inspire and recruit team members, providing training as needed.
- Manage and monitor performance metrics- including survey, HOS and safety scores.
- Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team morale.
- Interact heavily with Store Management, Customer Care and other departments within clients' operations on daily basis.
- Monitor all deliveries and routes in Dispatch Track from start to finish.
