This is what your day may look like:
- Supervise Delivery and/or Shuttle
- Work closely with other transportation managers, ensuring routes and deliveries are accurately executed.
- Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR’s, and Hours of service records.
- Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team environment.
- Supervise a team of independent professional contractors.
- Supervise and monitor performance metrics- including survey, safety scores and Hours of Service.
- Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team morale.
- Monitor all deliveries and routes in Dispatch Track/Motive from start to finish.
What we require:
- Minimum 1 years of logistics experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience with moderate Excel Skills
- Excellent Organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Detailed oriented, highly organized, and resourceful
- Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations
- Ability to work flex schedule
