SE Retail is seeking a CAD Designer to join our team!
SUMMARY Prepares working drawings for manufacturing and installation
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Transform designs and ideas into working drawings
- Ability to work alongside Project and Account Management teams
- Communicate ideas and designs to engineers, designers, clients, and contractors, both in person and over the phone
- Make construction design decisions, including determining structural sizes, connection methods, and drawing renderings
- Prepare 2D, 3D, and Isometric drawings for client and company approval.
- Utilization of Adobe Suites (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
- Frequent out of town travel (10%-20%)
- Other drawing duties may be assigned to accommodate client’s needs
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Independent decisions are based upon knowledge and understanding of customer requirements, as well as production and delivery logistics
- To be effective in this position, the incumbent will have had at least 2 years of similar experience in a manufacturing organization or an associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD and design)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Releases 2018 and up required
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to work on multiple projects
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Associate of Applied Science in Computer Aided Drafting is preferred
