Production Support

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As Production Support for The Technology House, it is expected that you have a basic understanding and familiarity of CNC mills, CNC lathes, EDM wire, and EDM sinker machines. You will be required to operate these machines in a safe and efficient manner while producing parts that meet the quality expectations of the customer and The Technology House. This position will perform light machine operation and product finishing procedures. Production Support may also have other tasks assigned to them on an as-needed basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Flow

• Ensure job travelers are being followed according to compliance
• Verify and ensure cycle times are being achieved
• Troubleshoot problems that are within capabilities
• Communicate issues beyond capabilities to management

Employee Assignments

• Verify work assignments with management
• Open to learn and advance in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to keep a clean work environment
• Ability to read and understand basic inspection tools, and drawings
• Basic math skills

Other Accountabilities

• Follow all safety procedures
• Operate one or more pieces of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality products while keeping a quick pace
• Ensure quality of parts by inspecting all dimensional requirements according to the control plan and overall appearance of the parts
• Complete required paperwork
• Enter appropriate information into ERP system
• Adhere to delivery time and quality of parts
• Maintain and clean machines and work area
• Communicate with manager of status of jobs
• Maintain a team-oriented attitude while being professional to coworkers
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training will be provided
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting: Medium - Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 50 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 25 pounds
• Standing/Walking: Greater than 90% of workday
• Flexibility: Medium – Reaching in machine, bending for parts

ITAR REQUIREMENTS

The Technology House has a responsibility to comply with all applicable requirements set forth by International Traffic Arms Regulations, or ITAR (22 CFR 120-130).
