Pay Range: USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.

What will you be doing?
Sea Captain’s House is a high-volume restaurant seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role works closely with the General Manager to oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, manage team members, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Assistant General Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
- Lead and support front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
- Oversee scheduling, training, hiring, and development of team members to maintain a strong, service-driven workforce.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost management.
- Step in where needed to support front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including running shifts, managing service flow, and ensuring seamless execution of daily activities.
- Assist with planning and execution of events and catering functions, coordinating with kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve issues promptly, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing initiatives and special events to drive sales.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration across all departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- Experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Proficiency in financial management, including labor and cost control.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and general office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, POS systems).
