Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
Sea Colony, the premier beach and racquet sports community just south of Bethany Beach, DE, is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to coordinate marketing communications and initiatives for owners, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute marketing programs and content for Sea Colony’s activities and services, including retail, fitness, racquet sports, food & beverage, aquatics, and events.
- Manage and update Sea Colony’s website, social media channels, app, and other communication platforms.
- Create marketing materials such as ads, digital newsletters, brochures, videos, and interactive media. Capture photos and work with vendors to enhance content.
- Generate engaging content to drive interaction and engagement across communication channels.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including content creation, template design, and performance analysis.
- Monitor and respond professionally to inquiries and comments received through social media including the Facebook group, and the general email inbox.
- Attend Board of Director meetings, take detailed notes, and distribute meeting documentation to key stakeholders.
- Assist with surveys to gather insights from owners and guests, ensuring services meet their expectations.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop marketing materials that support revenue growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, and social media management.
- Proficiency in social media management, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook), Wix, and Mailchimp. HTML experience is a plus.
- Strong skills in video production, graphic design, and photography to create compelling content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
