Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional food service to our guests.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Support the catering team during events by ensuring timely cleaning of banquet items.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Experience in hotel or catering settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to various kitchen tasks as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
