Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to identify discrepancies
- Generate monthly financial reports for management to review and analyze
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support project management
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred but not mandatory
