Responsibilities- Oversee and direct grading operations and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage and train grading crew members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure project timelines and scopes are met.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain equipment and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Ensure materials are available on-site and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Prepare daily reports on project progress, challenges faced, and resolutions implemented.
- Proven experience as a Grading Foreman or similar role in the civil engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and site preparation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
