As a Staff Accountant with Sea Island Land Development, you will play a crucial role in strategic financial planning, budget monitoring, variance identification and ensuring overall compliance with financial regulations. Primary Responsibilities
- Direct, coordinate and supervise accounting and administrative services under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer
- Perform forecasts, cost management, inventory control, and other financial reporting requirements
- Develop appropriate accounting analysis and reporting formats, policies and procedures and schedules to support the reporting and analysis process
- Oversee accounting functions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assume responsibility for tax planning, audit coordination and implementation of financial controls to safeguard company assets
- Performance of bank statement reconciliation and receipt collection
- Prepare and present narratives, graphs and other reports to support business reviews management and customer presentations
- Performance of start to completion construction accounting
