S-E-A, a national forensic engineering firm is hiring an Imaging Sciences Specialist with a minimum of three years of post-academic animation experience to add to our St. Louis team! Please note that candidates with less than the required post-academic experience requirement will not be considered.
Due to the importance of connecting and maintaining relationships with peers, including engineers with which you would work, working in the office full time during training is required, with hybrid available thereafter.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :
Assist engineers in conveying and / or supporting their opinions and explaining complex mechanisms through computer animation, character rigging, graphic design, or other creative mediums
Create multimedia presentations and storyboards related to and in support of forensic investigations
Support marketing and engineering departments with promotional graphics and demonstration videos
Deliver presentations and explain the computer animations or graphic designs created
Seek out and learn new technical applications that would benefit the goals of this position
Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance
Regular and predictable presence at work
Position Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Art, Fine Art, Computer Animation, related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of three (3) years of post-academic computer animation experience
Advanced proficiency in 3DS Max, Maya and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects and Photoshop)
Proficient in 3d modeling and animation
Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus
Ability to obtain drone license within six to twelve months
Experience in graphic design, video editing / compositing, and interactive programming
Physical Requirements :
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to drive to site locations
Ability to drive in all conditions
Ability to fly on airplanes
Ability to carry equipment to and from job sites
Ability to communicate orally and in writing with clients and colleagues
Ability to visually inspect job sites and relevant artifacts
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site
Ability to learn a new industry and obtain required certifications
