Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent at our golf resort, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their arrival and stay is a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with guest inquiries, and helping to create lasting memories for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, providing detailed information about resort amenities, golf facilities, and services.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Reservation Management:
- Manage room reservations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to resort policies.
- Coordinate group bookings and golf packages, if applicable.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability and rates.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized fashion.
- Handle guest billing and payment processing accurately.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports and correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and amenities for guests.
Communication:
- Act as a liaison between guests and other resort departments.
- Relay important messages and information to guests and staff.
- Provide clear and concise directions and recommendations to guests regarding local attractions and dining options.
Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Escalate issues to management when necessary.
Safety and Security:
- Follow security and safety protocols, ensuring the safety of guests and the resort property.
- Monitor the lobby and report any suspicious activity or incidents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer software, including property management systems (PMS).
- Knowledge of golf and golf resort operations is desirable.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
