Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Sea Pines Resort. The Housekeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our hotel rooms, jacuzzi area, and restaurant, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and inviting environment throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and changing linens.
- Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, replenish toiletries, and ensure all amenities are well-stocked for guest convenience.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including sidewalks, lobby, and restaurant bathrooms, on a daily basis.
- Perform laundry on in house linens, pillowcases and comforters.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Adhere to established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic and hazard-free environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Uphold the resort's high standards of cleanliness and presentation, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed, to accommodate the demands of the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical handling procedures.
