JOB REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must have prior knowledge and experience in the following areas, and must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodation:

- Must be willing to work off schedule conditions to recondition molds which could include weekend work
- A minimum of 1 year of related boat building experience required; 3 years fiberglass lamination experience preferred
- Ability to Audit departmental work areas
- Ability to get department inspection and buy-offs
- Ability to Multi-Task
- Ability to read and understand Job Descriptions, Blue Prints and Production Schedule and Construction Records
- Ability to work in a dusty environment
- Ability to work in a hot environment
- Auto Body Experience a plus
- Communication Skills
- Computer Knowledge
- Hand Tool Knowledge
- High School Education or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal
- Strong Record Keeping Abilities
- Knowledge of Procedures, instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality system
- Strong Written and Verbal Skills

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately
- Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators etc.
- Must be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, pass spirometer test and physically wear a respirator where required
- Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, mitigating inside of molds, spending working hours on your feet, etc.
- Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $20.60 to $25.05, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
