Sea Scape Construction runs daily maintenance and cleaning operations for Sea Scape Properties, the leading long-term and vacation rental company in the Wrightsville Beach area. Summer Sands Hotel and Suites (managed by Sea Scape Properties) is searching for a Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. Our “Summer Sands family” genuinely enjoys coming to work and making our guests’ stay exceptional – and we want to work with others who share this passion. Hotel housekeeping experience is not necessary, just common sense and a positive outlook. Hours may vary and generally increase during the warmer months. Weekend Availability is required for this position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Clean, stock and supply condos (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, bed making, restroom cleaning, appliances etc.).

· Deep cleaning tasks as needed (we are a dog-friendly facility, so additional cleaning is often needed).

· Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needed repairs.

· Stock hotel style amenities, paper products and linens.

· Cleaning of the hotel’s common areas

· Cooperate with the rest of the staff.

· Follow all health and safety regulations.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Previous experience as a cleaner preferred but not required.

· Ability to stock and maneuver a linen cart.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

· Dependable transportation to and from work.

· Ability to follow a detailed checklist.

· Able to work in a timely and efficient manner.

· Integrity.

· Must be able to use your own phone/tablet to clock in/out of each rental unit.

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Education and Experience:

· Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation is required.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

• Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
