Location: Ontario, CA centrally located by I-10, I-15, I-60
Job Type: Full-Time min 40 hour week
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for a dual role as a Port Driver and Warehouse Worker. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to perform both driving and warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment. This role requires working with our company to ensure smooth operations across port transportation and warehouse functions. This dual role allows for a consistent, but flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a commercial vehicle (CDL required) to transport goods to and from the port.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record with no accidents or tickets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods at the warehouse.
- Manage inventory, organize stock, and fulfill orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL driver.
- Must have a valid CDL (Class A).
- Clean driving record (no accidents or tickets).
- TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card is required.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment, ie. forklifts, scissor lift, strap and wrapper etc.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
