Digital Marketplace Manager

The Digital Marketplace Manager will leverage the SeaBear brand and products to build a world-class third-party business. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial initiative-taker who has experience scaling third-party marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com and/or others. We are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and drive the P&L, establish processes and deliver a great customer experience. This role is fully integrated into our Revenue Team, which includes Direct to Consumer, Marketing, and Wholesale, and reports to our company President. This role is visible internally both with peers and senior leadership and requires a candidate who has undeniable cross-functional collaboration and communication, strong business acumen and maturity.

Our headquarters is based in our Anacortes, WA. The ideal candidate will be onsite at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key third-party accounts including Amazon (agency supported), Faire, Walmart.com, Target.com, Goldbelly, Instacart, Shipt, and others.
  • Maintain a perspective on revenue and profitability vs. goal as well as assortment productivity and inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement data-driven sales targets and strategic action plans for the third-party business, aligning with overall commercial and brand objectives.
  • Responsible for tracking drop-ship orders and order processing.
  • Maintain A , zero-defect listings to the end customer – complete listing updates, assess keywords, highlight creative/content needs, and update third-party and internal platforms.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels on an ongoing basis and ensure 3PL’s are delivering upon agreed service levels.
  • Achieve a consistent, uniform pricing and promotional experience – set and maintain the agreed upon pricing and promotional strategy, flagging and escalating any reseller issues until they are resolved.
  • Experience with retail media, leveraging spending to drive growth, and understanding marketing investment channels.
  • Partner across the organization to maximize the value of the channel – tight collaboration with wholesale managers on product assortment strategy and distribution control; collaboration with marketing team on content and creative and product insights.
  • Manage and identify future business development opportunities with the marketplace channel that increases SeaBear’s awareness and penetration.
  • Support Wholesale Team as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience working with Amazon seller central tools and/or other retailer systems
  • 3 years’ experience in B2B digital markets
  • Advanced knowledge of third-party promotional and advertising vehicles
  • Solid track record of taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas; proven track record of moving a roadmap forward
  • Confident in making independent, data-driven decisions
  • Good understanding of the levers to pull in an online business
  • Effective communicator who is persistent
  • Ability to identify and diagnose root causes, develop solutions and implement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field OR commensurate experience


Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
