Job Description
Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC is seeking a Food Safety Quality Control Manager for its location in Sioux City, IA. Will be responsible for reviewing the company's food safety programs through analyzing quality control tests and providing feedback to management; verifying raw materials, purchased components, in-process samples, and finished products meet established standards; oversee workers engaged in food safety analysis; direct product testing activities throughout production cycles; identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management; produce reports regarding quality, root cost analysis, trends, and nonconformance; stay abreast of issues in the quality control field; maintain and implement food safety programs; and ensure program compliance with applicable government, certification, and customer requirements.
Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Food Science or a closely related field and two years of related experience. Required experience must include two years in the following areas : Food Safety and Food Safety Programs and Pork Laboratory. Green or Black Six Sigma Certification and HACCP certification is required.
