We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Seaboard Foods. As a key player in our data governance program, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures for managing and ensuring data quality and integrity.
About the Role
This role requires collaboration with stakeholders (owners and custodians) to define data governance goals, objectives, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the data governance program. You will also provide strategic guidance to IT and Business Leadership on data management and governance matters, manage vendor relationships, and conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on data governance principles, policies, and best practices.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Management, Cybersecurity, or other equivalent experience is preferred.
