What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Caretaker III Vaccination Crew - Perryton, TX position at Seaboard Foods?
JOB PURPOSE
The Vaccination Crew Team Member is responsible for vaccinating swine in a nursery or finisher facility under direction of the Vaccination Crew Team Leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Vaccinate hogs using proper injection techniques, animal handling, and vaccine handling procedures.
- Properly wear all personal protective equipment outlined in the company standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Follow all biosecurity guidelines while performing all job duties
- Properly wash and store equipment and clothing.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining office and farm areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Bilingual, Spanish and English preferred but not necessary.
