We have an exciting Enterprise Architect opportunity in our Merriam, KS office. The Enterprise Architect provides overall direction and guidance in the definition of an enterprise's current and future architecture. Responsibilities include developing strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices that align with business objectives. Interfaces between business areas and within IT to collaboratively develop direction and gain consensus. Also responsible for the overall coordination and governance across the various architectural disciplines.

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Takes ownership and facilitates the creation of IT strategies, roadmaps, and standards.
- Ensures business, solution, and infrastructure architectures are aligned.
- Drives solution concept, design, and governance processes.
- Drives ideation and innovation.
- Defines business cases to rationalize strategic investments.
- Adapts and evolves IT methodologies across the enterprise.
- Leads the Architecture Review Board.
- Drives collaborative Architecture and Security assessments.
- Builds business partner and IT confidence through action and strong communication.
- Provides leadership and mentorship to Architecture team members.
Qualifications
- A college degree in MIS, CIS, Business Management or a related field
- 5 years of progressive IT Architectural experience
- Experience in developing an Enterprise Architecture discipline
- Experience in working with the business and IT in building strategies and roadmaps
- Outstanding conceptual, analytical and strategic skills and a vigorous thought process
- A team player with the ability to sell change effectively and influence others
- Relentless sense of urgency, strong intellectual horsepower, a thorough and insightful problem solver with a can-do attitude and demonstrated results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Leadership and management skills to mentor and guide a team of architects
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and negotiate compromise solutions where necessary
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Known reputation for integrity and ethics
- Solid understanding of key program and project management and communications tools, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
