JOB LOCATION: Guymon, Oklahoma

Relocation Assistance for those moving from 100 miles away.

SHIFT: Day and Night Shifts

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for cutting, trimming and deboning of fresh pork to products to customer specifications in a 900,000 square foot pork processing facility harvesting over 20,000 animals per day. The position works with different types of straight knives, Whizard, skinners to produce wholesome products in a safe manner. Full-time positions are a minimum 40-hour work week and . New hires will go through a five day Knife Academy where they will learn knife skills before going onto the production floor and on-the-job training is provided for the remainder of the probationary period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime depending on department and production needs
• Must be able to maintain an edge and understand knife techniques
• Additional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobs
• Adhere to all Company policies relating to food safety, workplace safety and personal safety

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least up to 50 pounds
• Must wear all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) for the position while working
• Must be able to work in a hot and wet environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and use some or all body parts and muscle groups in physically demanding work
• Good hand-eye coordination and upper extremity motor skills

PAY RATE:

• Starting pay $20.25 per hour
• $1.00 per hour shift differential for night shifts
• *Overtime pay (time and a half) after 40 hours
