We are seeking a General Production Supervisor to lead our processing facility's daily operations. This role is responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all operational activities related to production, product quality, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Ensure operations adhere to company, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor yields and efficiencies, working within departmental budgets.
- Develop and implement training programs for direct reports and production employees.
- Work with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of trust, effective communication, action-oriented mindset, accountability, and results-driven behavior.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in team development and management.
- Animal protein manufacturing experience and comprehensive understanding of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations procedures.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, USDA, and HACCP regulations.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse populations and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
The schedule will be established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel may be required.
Work Environment
This role requires regular movement around the facility, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and airborne particles.
