We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager supporting the Harvest and Rendering operations at our Guymon, OK pork processing facility. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring our plant operates efficiently while harvesting over 22,000 hogs a day. You will oversee the maintenance of the Harvest Floor and Rendering areas, lead a high-performing team, reduce equipment downtime, manage budgets, and implement continuous improvement practices to support the plant's productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities across the Harvest Floor and Rendering areas to ensure operational excellence and equipment uptime.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs customized for high-volume hog processing and rendering operations.
- Quickly address equipment and facility issues, ensuring timely repairs and minimizing disruptions.
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment downtime; implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other proven methodologies.
- Implement and standardize maintenance procedures that optimize performance and ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Plan, manage, and analyze the department's maintenance budget; recommend cost-effective solutions and prioritize spending to improve reliability.
- Provide accurate financial forecasting for equipment upgrades, technological improvements, and training investments.
- Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians; schedule training and enforce safety protocols.
- Foster a collaborative environment among maintenance and production teams to improve communication and align operational goals.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments; ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to downtime, waste reduction, and equipment effectiveness.
- Provide data-driven performance reports and collaborate with leadership to align on strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing, processing, or food production environment.
- Expertise in high-volume processing and rendering systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in pork processing or other food production environments.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM.
- Proven success in reducing downtime and improving reliability in complex production environments.
