We have an exciting opportunity in our Guymon, OK, processing facility. We are seeking a dynamic Parts Room Manager to lead and oversee a multi-shift mechanical parts department at our Guymon, OK, pork processing facility, which processes over 21,000 animals daily. This role is responsible for managing inbound mechanical, repair, and operations (MRO) materials, ensuring efficient inventory control, logistics, and material flow. Working closely with the maintenance department, this position ensures timely procurement and availability of critical parts to support operational efficiency. Additionally, the role provides leadership, oversight, and guidance to a team responsible for processing orders, receiving goods and services, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position requires strong collaboration and communication with plant management and vendors to deliver high-quality service and align with the organization's business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with vendors, internal teams, and management to coordinate purchases, monitor project progress, and ensure timely delivery of parts and materials. Work closely with Accounts Payable to verify and process invoices efficiently.
- Oversee the requisition and purchase order process for goods and services. Maintain accurate inventory levels by leveraging best practices in inventory management, including setting and adjusting reorder points (ROP) and reorder quantities (ROQ).
- Generate, analyze, and interpret open PO reports, goods received reports, and inventory records to optimize purchasing and stocking decisions. Use statistical data to establish departmental objectives and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and enforce procedures for managing defective or damaged materials, including root cause analysis and cost accountability assessments.
- Assess workflow efficiency, material flow, and functional processes to drive continuous improvement and maximize productivity.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performance team within the parts department. Provide coaching on best practices in purchasing and inventory management while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Partner with leadership, operations, and suppliers to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all purchasing and inventory related activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

- College degree in engineering or supply with purchasing/inventory control management and the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well within a team and interact daily with all company workforce levels.
- Extensive experience using computers and other related tools, including applicable software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and all standard programs used in an industrial food processing facility; SAP or JDE preferred.
- Ability to be certified to operate a powered industrial truck and any other safety certifications required for the position.

- The noise level in the work environment (production floor) always requires hearing protection.
- The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
