What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Surveying Field Crew Member position at Seaboard Surveying?
Field Crew Member
Duties:
- Assist in conducting field surveys using equipment and tools.
- Work closely with the survey crew leader to ensure accurate measurements and data collection.
- Perform necessary calculations and record data accurately in field notes.
- Maintain and operate surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS receivers, data collectors and levels. Will train the right person.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in land surveying is a plus.
- Previous experience in land surveying or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments and equipment and will train.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
