Job Summary:

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in curating memorable experiences for Seabrook's guests, with a focus on maintaining both the pristine Crescent Park Indoor and Sunshine Outdoor Swimming Pool. This role represents Seabrook, staying informed about local events, answering FAQs, and directing guests to the right resources. Maintaining common pool areas, bathrooms, changing areas, and tracking outdoor game equipment are crucial to keeping the surroundings tidy and orderly.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Check guests into the pool, ensuring they are registered Seabrook guests.
- Sanitize high-touch points throughout the day.
- Manage towel inventory and re-set furniture as needed.
- Conduct regular walks through assigned areas to collect trash, used linens, and other items.
- Report missing/found articles, damages, and merchandise problems to managers.
- Oversee The Dugout and manage lending and return of all outdoor recreation equipment and games.
- Follow up with guests if equipment is not returned.
- Process payments accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment securely.
- Responsible for assisting guests, managing inventory, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness at the skating rink to ensure a positive recreational experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong guest service, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently with a positive problem-solving approach.
- Flexibility in an evolving environment, demonstrating patience with customers and team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with diverse technology and systems, including timekeeping software, Outlook email, applications, and tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work and educational experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years in hospitality, housekeeping, service industry, or similar, with a demonstrated ability to perform essential job functions.
- All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Adaptability to different temperature changes, indoor/outdoor transitions, and varied physical activities.
- Occasional exposure to environmental factors like moving objects, dust, gas/fumes, extreme temperatures, vibration, and noise.
Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour
