Seeking a part-time, customer-centric team member to join the Office of Resident Engagement. The coordinator is responsible for planning culturally enriching, off-campus trips, educational programs and events including the Seabury Charitable Foundation’s annual Golf With Purpose. The coordinator may also lead one on-campus program or course in their area of expertise with the approval of the VP for Philanthropy and Engagement. The coordinator is responsible for providing superior customer service over the phone, in person, and via email. They are also responsible for data entry, processing reservations, pre-event and post-event communications, and providing planning and administrative support to all aspects of our off-campus events program.
Must be able to plan at least one off-campus trip per month and to serve as the Tour Manager to lead the trip.
Required Qualifications :
- CT Driver’s License. Must obtain CT Passenger Endorsement including background investigations.
- Excellent written and oral communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 30 pounds.
- Hospitality or customer service industry experience. Experience in an administrative support role.
- Confident computer skills using PC, and Microsoft Office.
- Proactive with exceptional attention to detail, organized, and the ability to keep others organized.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, be a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced, work environment is a must.
