What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campus AVL Tech Coordinator, Summerville Campus position at Seacoast Church?
Hours: 15 hours/weekly
This position reports to: Campus Worship Leader and the Central AVL Systems Manager
The Mission: Seacoast Church goes all out in our mission to help others "Find God, Grow their Faith, Discover their Purpose, and Make a Difference." Overview: This role falls under the local campus Worship department as well as the central AVL Systems department. The Campus AVL Systems Coordinator is a hands-on technician who ensures all equipment is installed, maintained and working properly during all Seacoast services and events across all campuses in the greater Summerville area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all technical systems for Audio, Video, and Lighting to ensure a positive worship experience
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all AVL Systems (in partnership with the Central AVL Systems Team) across all campuses in the greater Summerville area, including but not limited to the following:
- Audio consoles (Allen & Heath Avantis and SQ series), speakers, amplifiers, wireless mics and IEMs, video switchers, cameras, lighting fixtures, lighting consoles and software, projectors and TVs, and all related Software including but not limited to ProPresenter, Ableton Live, Dante, ATEM, and Obsidian Onyx
- Run sound and create a musical mix that aligns with the guidelines provided by Central Weekend Experience leadership that promotes congregant engagement and is free from distraction
- Train and develop the Audio, Video, and Lighting technical skills of the Dream Team
- Provide Tier 1 support for any AVL Systems troubleshooting for all campus events, including but not limited to the Weekend Experience, First Wednesday, conferences, and other events as needed
- Partner closely with the Central AVL Systems Team to troubleshoot problems while identifying better solutions
- Travel to campuses in the greater Summerville area as needed
- Support the goals of the team by demonstrating teamwork and performing other duties as requested
- Record Weekend and First Wednesday services and upload the mix for our volunteers to hear how they sound so they can work to improve their quality of sound, and upload audio stems for musicians
Job Essentials:
- Christ Follower (As a religious organization, Seacoast Church makes hiring decisions aligned to our faith and beliefs)
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a church or production environment working with Audio, Video, and Lighting
- A heart for worshipping God and bringing others into the spirit of worship
- Experience mixing audio successfully in a live environment
- Experience using ProPresenter, Ableton Live, Obsidian Onyx, ATEM
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt where needed
- Champion of time management: managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and providing information in a timely and effective manner
- Flexible schedule is needed at times that includes weekends and some holidays
- Demonstrated spiritual gifts to serve others in a team environment
