The mission: Seacoast Worship exists to create music and experiences that reveals the heart of God and lead others into his presence. In doing so, we support the mission of Seacoast Church to help others “Find God, Grow their Faith, Discover their Purpose, and Make a Difference.” The Campus Worship Leader provides passionate leadership for our worship team in an effort to create an authentic worship experience for each and every weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
- Bring Inspiration to the Vision of Seacoast Worship to your Campus
- Lead and develop a worship and production team of Dream Team (volunteers) and occasionally employees inspired to create a dynamic worship experience, advance the mission of Seacoast, and provide accessible avenues of spiritual growth.
- Primary Worship Leader
- Drive the weekend worship experience on the platform with enthusiasm and authentic, expressive worship.
- Motivated in self-improvement; striving to continually grow spiritually and in craft.
- Insert the weekly sets in Planning Center 4-5 weeks in advance. At least two weeks in advance, provide the key the song will be sung in and make sure all resources are available for your team (ISO Tracks, chord/number charts, band notes, tutorials).
- Manage set up / tear down for worship area (or campus if applicable).
- Organize stage for specific weekend or event, making sure stage is clean/tidy.
- Oversee all AVL Systems and Production areas for your campus.
- Schedule and lead mid-week run-throughs, as well as the entire weekend services routine (such as call times, start times, service expectations, service times, etc.).
- Knowledge of Ableton: Make sure Ableton sessions are properly programmed for services/events. Build Ableton sessions, make edits, and troubleshoot when necessary.
- Knowledge of ProPresenter: Program projection assets for main screen(s) as well as environmental projection, make sure lyrics, songs, backgrounds, and slides are loaded. Able to make edits, create song lyrics, and create campus specific announcement slides.
- Program Lighting: Program lighting cues within the lighting software that flows with Central Assets and focuses on dynamics for the entire service.
- Knowledge of Digital Audio Consoles: Be able to navigate a digital audio console (ex: Allen & Heath SQ-7 / Avantis / Behringer X32) to make patching/routing changes, basic gain staging, EQ and compression techniques, and have a musical ear for mixing a full band and host/video transitions, when needed.
- Work with the central Technology Team to be smart hands onsite to help them troubleshoot basic tech issues.
- Be able and willing to work on a ladder to re-focus lighting fixtures or troubleshoot projectors and replace lamps/filters, etc.
- Lead production team meeting before each weekend service (meet with the Campus Pastor, production, and worship to discuss service flow and create effective transitions).
- Lead worship for special Seacoast events including, but not limited to; Christmas and Easter services, conferences, All-Staff meetings, weddings and funerals, and other outside events as margin allows.
- Create face to face moments with God through worship and strive to make every weekend experience one that people want to repeat.
- Set Planning/Building
- Lead the weekend experience, First Wednesday services, and special events in worship that reflect Seacoast culture and the worship experience desired at Seacoast.
- Team Leader
- Schedule worship and production teams at least one month in advance for services and events.
- For each service/event, create service flow to reflect all elements and transitions.
- Meet consistently with Campus Pastor for mentoring and development.
- Attend weekly staff meetings with campus staff.
- Attend All-Staff meetings.
- Connect monthly with Central Worship Pastor.
- Continually invest in developing the worship team through community and spiritual growth.
- Ongoing Recruitment and Team Development.
- Utilize Microsoft Teams for resources and communication.
- Manage and organize Mid-Week Run-Throughs. Personally prepare for all run-throughs in order to set high standards and to provide constructive feedback for team improvement. Memorize music so teams are free to worship, and platform is free of music stands/clutter. Organize final run-through focusing on dynamics, transitions, flow, and start/end times.
- Attend weekly meetings with all Campus Worship Leaders and Central Worship Pastor.
- Attend weekly Weekend Debrief meeting with Campus Worship Leaders and Campus Pastors.
- Lead campus with comprehensive knowledge of Planning Center, our primary mode of communication and scheduling of teams.
- Administrative Duties
- Partner with the Campus Pastor to create a worship team budget and steward wisely the worship resources in alignment with the annual budget.
- Monitor musician hours and approve all hours each pay period in Paycom; or report independent contractor hours through Ramp.
- Submit Campus Worship Leader Checklist weekly and monthly when applicable.
- Manage/Update website and social media accounts to ensure all events, small group offerings, and serve/volunteer/dream team opportunities are up to date and regularly posting to Campus Facebook and providing quick responses when questions are posted
