Gardener

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with garden and landscape care. Installing annuals, perennials and shrubs and basic grounds keeping and managing outdoor spaces. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure the health and aesthetics of our gardens and landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, weeding and cultivating.
• Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks such as: backpack blower, grass trimmer, hedge trimmer, edger, cultivator, pruners and lopers. 90% of our work is done by hand in hand tools.
• Care for plants and shrubs as needed to maintain healthy growth and appearance.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement landscaping projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred.
• Knowledge of plant care, planting annuals, perennials and small shrubs.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely in a gardening context.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• This is a MODERATE activity level we DO NOT spread mulch, soil or stone.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
