What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Surgery Nurse position at Seacoast Plastic Surgery and Medical Aesthetics?
Seacoast Plastic Surgery and Medical Aesthetics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the peri-operative setting as well as experience with laser treatments and injectables. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care, possess experience in care of Plastic Surgery patients (or experience in any surgical discipline). The ideal candidate would also have experience with aesthetic medicine, and excel in delivering a wide variety of non-surgical cosmetic treatments. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to help patients in the peri-operative and medical spa settings achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Injectable Treatments: Administer Neurotoxin, dermal fillers, and other injectables to address clients’ aesthetic concerns including fine lines, wrinkles, volume loss, and facial contouring.
- Laser Treatments: Conduct laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and pigmentation correction.
- Patient Consultations: Provide in-depth patient consultations to assess aesthetic concerns, develop customized treatment plans, and educate patients on recommended treatments and procedures.
- Peri-operative: review patients scheduled for surgery, assist with scheduling pre-operative labs, clearances, and imaging, work with the surgical team in the operating room, and help recover patients when needed.
- Patient Safety: Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, ensuring sterile techniques and compliance with state regulations and company protocols.
- Pre- and Post-Treatment Care: Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care to ensure the best outcomes and minimize risks.
- Documentation and Records: Accurately document patient information, procedures, and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records.
- Stay Current: Continuously update skills and knowledge on the latest techniques, trends, and products in the aesthetic industry.
-Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire. Preference will be given to candidates based on experience if they have an existing nursing license and are relocating to the area.
- Successful candidate will work towards earning the CPSN (Certified Plastic Surgery Nursing) qualification within 2-3 years. Candidates who already have this qualification are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of **2 years** of experience with injectables (Botox, fillers) and laser treatments.
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic principles.
- Proven ability to create tailored treatment plans and deliver outstanding results.
