What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Helper (Temporary) position at SeaComm Federal Credit Union?
Role:
Provides general maintenance to the Credit Union's facilities as assigned by supervisor. Will be responsible for meeting Credit Union Service Mission expectations in each and every service interaction with both internal and external members.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily general maintenance duties, including mowing, weeding, landscaping, trash pickup, moving furniture/boxes, etc.
- Assist with general repair and maintenance of buildings. This may include painting, routine repairs, or assisting on construction projects.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
Skills: General maintenance experience is desired. Must be able to operate standard lawn equipment and have basic maintenance knowledge. Must possess a valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements: Requires ability to lift 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, bending, reaching overhead, climbing ladders, carrying heavy objects, raking, shoveling and other common activities related to general lawn care and facility maintenance.
Work Environment: Work will require being outdoors in all types of weather. Involves driving company vehicle to all company locations.
Position Type: Temporary, is anticipated to work from May - August/September
Hours: Varies
Current Schedule: Varies, anticipated to work approximately 32-40 hours weekly.
Pay Range: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour.
Actual starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relative) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
