Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support our daily operations at our Philadelphia facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and shipping inventory efficiently and accurately. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while ensuring the timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and ensure proper storage.
- Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Load and unload trucks and assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience is a plus but not required.
- Basic reading skills for inventory counts and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Location: On-site at our Philadelphia, PA warehouse
- Schedule: Full-time (Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; occasional overtime may be required)
- Physical labor involved (standing, lifting, walking, bending)
