Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Job Summary : SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is currently seeking a Software Engineer. Software Engineers research, design, develop, and test computer hardwareand software programs. Entry-level Linux Developer for the Navy's AN / BYG-1Submarine Combat System delivered to the United States Navy (USN) and RoyalAustralian Navy (RAN) Submarine fleet. Our close-knit team is passionate aboutdelivering the best product to the Navy to help protect our country. Our teamworks closely with the Submarine community to develop solutions that allow theNavy to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
Job Responsibilities Include :
- Develop and test operating systems to ensure theintegration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety andother requirements in the total engineering effort.
- Armoring systems for Navy certification andaccreditation.
- Working with external vendors and customers.
- Installing tactical bays.
- Configuring lab environments and specifications.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematicsfield. Agile experience preferred. Additional years of technical experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience : 1 year of relevant experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience :
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship
