SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Administrator II .
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Job Summary : SEACORP's Platforms Business Area has an immediate need for a full-time SystemAdministrator professional with a Secret clearance based at our Middletown, Rhode Island site. The selected applicant will perform work to assist with the managementof DoD systems. While these positions will mostly have regular business hours,some travel will be required.
Job Responsibilities Include :
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, andmaintenance of server and systems configurations (hardware and software) toensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Candidate wouldadminister server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications,network storage, messaging, and performs systems monitoring.
- Potential toconsult on network, and application issues to support computer systems'security and sustainability.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in atechnical field including but not limited to Engineering, Computer Science, orComputer Engineering, is preferred. Advanced military technical training(e.g. Navy "C" School) and 6 years' experience in military systems(e.g., service abroad a naval ship) with an additional 3 years of professionalexperience in systems engineering can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of relatedwork experience, preferably in IT.
Ideal Skills and Experience :
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship
