These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The systems engineer is responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluation and integration of Undersea Dominance Payloads into the AN/BYG-1 CCS forVirginia Class Submarines.
- Managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web application, including specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
- Evaluation of currently deployed weapon/payload systemcondition of readiness and providing technical recommendations to sponsors forplatform integration.
- Lead focused technical teams responsible for determining the best course of action to resolve issues. Including review and development of Technical Reports, identifying documentation deficiencies, providing recommendations, participate in technical working groups, collection and analysis of test data to develop user experience (Ux) design features.
- Future Payload Platform technical feasibility studies(such as white papers, trade studies) as the preliminary step to support theidentification and generation of requirements in the following system areas:
- Technology Insertion.
- Hardware Selection.
- Incremental Requirements Phasingfor Performance Improvement.
- Design Changes to Existing or Future PlatformSystems, Space Weight and Cooling Impacts.
- This position may include travel to Industry Partner and customer locations for support.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
Experience: 7 years of experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the submarine AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System (CCS), associated integrated strike warfare systems and launch control systems.
