The selected candidate will join a highly talented teamresponsible for design and delivery of the Common Infrastructure Services (CIS)within the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS).

Experience: 3 years of Systems Engineering experience on softwareintensive systems.

Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Work with software developers, test engineers, systemsengineers and cyber experts to analyze and decompose requirements, designsoftware approaches, support integration and test, manage interfaces, andassess software deliveries.
- Work with the larger SWFTS community tointegrate CIS releases and deploy to the fleet.
- Theideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver and able towork effectively in a multi-team environment.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering field isrequired.
Experience: 3 years of Systems Engineering experience on softwareintensive systems.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with containerized applications.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology.
- Working knowledge of SWFTS and/or AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Weapon Systems.
- Experience with Linux Operating systems.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements derivation andmanagement.
- Experience generating system engineering artifacts.
- Development of test steps in support of requirements verification andvalidation.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, clients, and leadership frommultiple teams.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
