Job Description
At Seafield Center Inc., we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals struggling with chemical dependency. As a Chemical Dependency Counselor Trainee, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and overcome their challenges.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Conducting psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Designing and implementing treatment plans that address client goals and objectives.
• Monitoring client progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Key Responsibilities
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

• Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field.
• Enrollment in an accredited program of OASAS education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
