MAIN FUNCTION:
- To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mind/mood altering substances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide group, individual, and family counseling.
- Complete assessments, admissions, treatment plans, and reviews.
- Document all services provided.
- Maintain contact with referral sources and send progress reports.
- Attend case conferences, supervision, and staff meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Seafield policies and confidentiality regulations.
- Complete discharge and transitional planning, including referrals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Assessment & referral
- Treatment planning and review
- Group, individual, and family counseling
- Didactic presentation
- Documentation and crisis intervention
- Age-specific clinical skills (Adolescents, Geriatric)
- Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
LMSW, LMHC, CASAC or CASAC eligible.
Salary : $25 - $38
