About The Role
As our HR Generalist, you'll play a vital role in supporting and enhancing the employee experience across the Earth Tech Enterprises division. You’ll be the go-to person for HR-related queries, drive initiatives that align with our business goals, and foster a positive and inclusive culture.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Administer and process weekly payroll accurately and on time, in collaboration with construction management software and the finance team.
- Partner with managers and teams on performance management, engagement, and retention strategies
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating with hiring managers and facilitating candidate experience.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Lead or support initiatives around employee engagement, safety, and training programs.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HRIS systems. Paychex experience preferred.
- High level of discretion and sound judgment when managing sensitive matters.
- Degree in Human Resources, Professional Hyman Resources Certification, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
