Beverage Cart Attendant - Golf Club

Position Summary: The Beverage Cart Attendant at The Seagate Golf Club plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional food and beverage services, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, to our members and guests. You will operate the beverage cart throughout the golf course, ensuring timely and courteous service while maintaining a high-quality service-oriented environment.

Beverage Cart Attendant Responsibilities:

• Present a professional appearance at all times while representing The Seagate Golf Club.
• Drive the beverage cart to various locations on the golf course to serve guests promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain adequate stock levels on beverage carts, ensuring par levels are met each day of operation.
• Utilize POS systems to process transactions, including handling cash, room charges, guest member charges, and credit card payments according to established procedures.
• Communicate effectively with peers, management, and both line and front-of-house employees to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Greet all customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner, striving to exceed their expectations.
• Assist in the upkeep of the golf course as needed, contributing to its overall presentation and maintenance.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the facility.
• Make drinks according to Seagate standards and recipes.
• Ensure inventory is accurate and there are no unaccounted-for losses.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Position Requirements:

• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Driving the beverage cart is an essential aspect of this role.
• Meet the legal age requirement to serve liquor according to state law.
• Proficient in operating computerized/electronic cash register systems.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely to perform job duties.
• Familiarity with and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart while adhering to proper golf etiquette.
• Possess a friendly personality and enjoy interacting with the public in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Dependable and punctual, with a reliable work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach during the course of the shift.
