What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Advisor position at Seagrave Fire Apparatus?
1. Position Description
Handles all incoming warranty and service requests from Independent Field Service Representatives and directly from customers.
2. Essential Job Functions
2.1 Accurately process warranty claims from Independent Field Service Representatives and directly from customers.
2.2 Enters warranty claims and corrective actions into appropriate database.
2.3 Works with Independent Field Service Representatives and directly with customers to research what parts are needed for each claim.
2.4 Monitors and directs all incoming service emails to proper internal representative.
2.5 Process and send warranty and service invoices to field service representatives and direct customers.
2.6 Locates vehicle drawings, layouts, and service manuals as needed.
2.7 Calls vendors to find availability and pricing of purchased parts for warranty and service repairs.
2.8 Responsible for returning parts to vendors
2.9 Other Duties as assigned.
3. Requirements
3.1 Minimum of two years relevant experience working in a customer service job.
3.2 Associate Degree in relevant area of study desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
